Welcome to St Anthony of Padua Catholic College, Austral, the newest K-12 Catholic College within the beating heart of the Western Sydney Aerotropolis.
By 2026, our co-educational college will have students in preschool to Year 12 (P–12) who will be harnessing the benefits of studying in Western Sydney’s economic powerhouse. Existing and future students will have a rare opportunity to be on the cusp of Western Sydney Aerotropolis’ high-skills job hub, creating stimulating pathways to aerospace, defence, manufacturing, healthcare, freight/logistics, agribusiness, education and research careers.
Being a P–12 school, St Anthony of Padua Catholic College Austral will provide opportunities for students to be known, valued and challenged for the 13 years of their formal education and beyond. We aim to develop confident, independent young adults who are proud of their faith and individuality, and who will become global citizens with the skills and desire to make the world a better place.
Our college will be the centrepiece of an innovative and inclusive Catholic community which will engage users of all ages and backgrounds, allowing them to flourish through learning, pastoral care and service provision.
Our college already offers the best in design and technology with its richly resourced learning environments. Our specialist educators offer student-centred learning based on year groups studying and growing together in learning hubs, which are configured to enhance student engagement and interaction.
The college is situated in close proximity to future university campuses, the South-West Rail Link and M5, on a beautiful, spacious property where our students have the space and freedom to play, explore, socialise and participate in sporting activities.
We have science, engineering, food technology, music, performing arts and specialist learning areas for all our students and a Wellbeing Centre designed to keep our community healthy physically and mentally.
There is a strong feeling of pride among our staff and foundation families at being able to participate in building the school from the ground up and contributing towards the creation of the culture and traditions of St Anthony of Padua Catholic College Austral.
The words of Saint Anthony – ‘Let your words speak, and your actions teach’ – clearly demonstrate the qualities we wish to instil in the young adults who will leave our college. It is my hope that in working in partnership with our families and community, our students will develop a strong faith which will give them the confidence to value their voice, think differently and become learners for life.
