St Anthony of Padua Catholic College Austral, situated in the heart of the Aerotropolis, is preparing today’s students for tomorrow’s world.
As a centre of excellence, we partner with families to provide a continuity of co-education from preschool to Year 12. Offering a challenging curriculum, our learning specialists support every child within a flexible and innovative learning environment.
Our state of the art specialised learning areas include spaces for engineering, creative arts, food technology, visual arts and multi-recreational sporting facilities. At the heart of our college will stand the church, as a reminder of our dedication to faith. Here at St Anthony’s, we look towards the horizon as we continue to raise the bar. We provide opportunities such as Post-School Pathways for our students to make a difference in their world, knowing the possibilities for their future are limitless.
History
St Anthony’s parish officially opened in 1965. With Father Joe Weaver as parish priest, local families began connecting to create a strong Catholic faith community.
Today, Father Ronnie Maree is the current parish priest and is excited to be a part of a distinctive 21st-century college that fosters dynamic and future-focused learning, guided by the teachings of the Gospel, into producing global citizens with a desire to make the world a better place.
St Anthony of Padua Catholic College Austral opened in 2017 with the first enrolments of 42 children in Kindergarten. Since then, there have been further enrolments with a goal to cater to students from preschool through to Year 12 by 2026.
Charism
Our college and parish draw their inspiration and charism from our patron St Anthony of Padua, whose life revolved around educating others about the Scriptures and using God’s word to effect change, with a particular dedication to the poor and marginalised.
Here at St Anthony’s we are inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ, and Saint Anthony of Padua’s principles of service, hospitality and welcome to embrace his message: ‘Let your words teach and your actions speak.’

Our Parish
St Anthony of Padua Catholic College Austral is an integral part of the parish community, where we warmly welcome and encourage our students and families to become active members. The liturgical, sacramental, and prayer life of the school is strongly supported by our parish priest.
